Welcome to the MSU Trumpet Studio!
The Michigan State University Trumpet Studio is made of 25-30 trumpet performance, music education, and composition majors under the tutelage of Justin Emerich and Heather Zweifel.
Please explore our website recognizing our current studio, as well as alumni. We are very proud of our studio, as our music education majors have a 100% employment rate within six months of graduation. Also, current members of the studio have played with Cleveland, New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Houston, Kansas City, New Jersey, and Symphony of the Americas, as well as a number of regional orchestras around Michigan. Additionally, studio members have had fantastic success at the National Trumpet Competition and International Trumpet Guild Competitions. Many of our student awards and honors can be found in the Student Accolades section.
